What is a parametric chassis?
A chassis is an internal framework. You can't see it in the room, but it supports everything that makes up the gaming experience: modules, scenery, mechanisms, interactive elements. At Kryptex, we've developed a parametric version of this structure. of this structure. This means that from a single design file, we can automatically adjust the length, width and height of the frame to suit the project.
This system makes it possible to create structures perfectly adapted to the specifics of each venue, without having to start from scratch each time. Thanks to our design office's work with Fusion 360, these frames are generated in just a few clicks, then sent for CNC cutting.
A solution designed to meet every need
Designing a room also means thinking ahead:

- Transport logistics and palletizing

- Digitally modeled: a single base that can be adapted by parameterization.
- CNC-cut for perfect precision, time savings and fewer errors.
- Optimized by layout: parts are distributed intelligently on the panels to limit material losses.
- Assembled without heavy tools: thanks to clever interlocking systems.
- Dismountable and palletizable: for easy transport, storage and maintenance.
- Solid enough to withstand human intervention: for example, a technician can walk on it without fear during a maintenance operation.
Details that make all the difference
Our chassis are designed for the realities of the field. We have integrated specific technical solutions to maximize adaptability and finish quality:
- Threaders: these are additions of material that we deliberately oversize. On site, they can be recut to adapt perfectly to irregular walls or floors.
- Negative shadow play: a gap of around 1 cm deliberately left between certain elements. It's invisible to the player, but allows small gaps to be absorbed without compromising aesthetics or function.
